What is a good thing to entertian children...?? You have never had any, but you find yourself babysitting a 4 & 8 year old? All they want to do is take over our computer and our x-box. What games did you use to play when you were a kid? Me and my neighborhood friends would play war games and use sticks for our rifles. Sometimes we would play dress up and pretend to be superheroes, or knights on a quest, depending on where our imagination took us next. Sometimes, I would play Barbie & Ken with some of our girl neighbors, or with my cousins. The theme would always be Barbie and Ken cheating on each other, then getting back together again. Or either one of them dying. We also used to play "courtroom." I would always be the prossecution. The jury would be our stuffed animals. Sometimes, we paired up with our girl neighbors and pretended to be grown-up couples! It was so funny! We had several playhouses and imagine that we were neighbors. The kids would be dolls!

how can children not be corrupted? How can we promote abstinenece and get kids to just be kids when all their life they are taught soemthing else. What with the barbie dolls, Princesses, TV shows and what not, girls are only being taught to dress up pretty, fall in love with handsome men, and raise families with them. Thats what we let them think in their childhood. They watch movies about beautiful princesses and hansome princes and play with baby dolls, and dress up games. Then when they are teenagers we try to stop them from dressing seductively and tell them not to get involved with boys and get pregnant! Doesn't anyone think thats kind of strange??

Does feminine=weak? Why is it that anything 'girly' is considered weak or bad? I've noticed that girls are more admired for liking stereotypically 'masculine' things (sports, video games, etc.) than they are for like 'girly' things like ballet, dolls, etc. If a girl plays sports or likes video games, she's seen as tough and strong. If a boy so much as looks at a Barbie, people are ready to send him to the nearest psychiatrists' couch. I think it's so sad that, in a world where women fight for equality and respect, we still see being feminine as something bad. What's wrong with the color pink, or putting on a dress? I've even noticed things in magazines like, "She looked pretty and feminine, yet strong and powerful", as if you can't be pretty, feminine, AND strong and powerful. I don't get it.

Modelling Party? Hey Guys! I am having a party with some guy friends and some girl friends. Were doing a modelling/ make-up party. It was my idea and I thought it would be fun to play this game.
