Why does my browser close when I click on AOL free online games? I am on Verizon & Yahoo. Whenever I go into AOl/games, and click on a free online game, my browser and Yahoo immediately shut down. I don't have any trouble with getting into websites .. no other trouble that I know of. I have plenty of memory, Windows XP. Thanks

Hi im currently halfway through my contract (2yrs) with AOL BB 8Mb free ps3 and i feel i am not getting ? the service i am paying for. The exchange i should be connected to in my own village (Rottingdean, Brighton) (which AOL do not operate at) is about 300m from my house i know the cabling is a bit more than that. When i did some research on the internet i found a very useful site samknows.com (http://www.samknows.com/broadband/mapping/mapping.php). The 2 closest exchanges that do operate with aol are 3.3miles away kemptown and 2.4miles peacehaven I don't know which exchange i connect through. I pay £25 a month plus because i live so far away from the exchange i have to pay an extra £10 a month for a repeater to amplify & re-time the signal. I often find my self regularly clearing my cache and restarting my pc when the internet get very slow but doest always solve the problem. Ive stopped playing online games (ps3 and pc) because its laggy and i often lose my session connection. Is this a good enough case to send to AOL be released from the contract and change to another ISP such as Virgin which does operate at my local exchange. Is there any one thats had a similar problem and how did/would they deal with it. Many thanks for taking time to read my question any advice would be much appreciated.

Decent Broadband speeds? We have AOL broadband as calls (I'm not quite sure what the bill is for that, but with the BT line rental it comes to £30 something a month) for that we get up to 8mbps download speeds and free UK weekend and evening calls. The problem is, we usually only get around 3mbps. The service, although fairly reliable over the years, has been patchy recently, dropping to unbearably slow speeds at times, so slow I've had to go to my phone and use the 3G on that instead. I do a fair amount of online gaming, stream HD and SD content a lot. I'm just wondering if you think that 3mbps is a decent speed. I live in a smallish town in a rural area, BT Fibre Optic is available though. It is difficult to gauge whether or not the speed is decent, as I know many people who get Up to 2mbps because they live in villages. Do you think my speeds are decent for what I'm doing? Is the price decent? What do you get? Who is your ISP? What do you think is a decent speed? Oh, and I use a several year old Belkin Wireless G router, but considering my maximum download speed, that shouldn't really be slowing me down a great deal Thanks
