I was interested in playing Angels Online,and I've never played online games before.I quit going on myspace because my desktop crashed after getting a virus from myspace.I got a new laptop,and I don't want something like that happening to my new laptop.Does anyone know if you can get a virus on your computer if you play these free online games? thanks for reading my post,and thank you in advance for any and all replies.

Where can I play online games with my friend? I recently moved from my hometown to a new state for college, and my best friend is still back at home. We talk all the time and stuff, but want to be able to play, y'know, Scrabble and stuff online with each other. Where is a good site to do this? Any fun and great F2P (free 2 play) mmo animeish style Online games? Ive been looking around for worth playing fun, active community, and fun good animeish styled or some realism (doesnt matter so much) mmo online games and im trying to find something great to play. Ive played DFO (dungoen fighter online), Dragon nest, maple story (which i didnt like as much), latale, S4 league,( mostly shooting and animeish styled mmo), Atlantica, Vindictus, (made me lag like hell so didnt get any far in the game. ) Dragonica, GhostX, Wonderland online, Grandfantasia, Rumble hearts, fight district 4, rumble fighter (which sucked and had to use real money so much to get what you wanted and Getamped II is way much better in my opinion) and soul master. (which was great until one of the game sponsors shut it down and its been a while since the newest sponsor company still havent launched it at all yet.) and last and least getamped II (which is mostly fighting) -.-; Anyways i want to look for something fun and good to play, face passed, fun and adicting mmo, not luna online, not flyff, no sports mmos much either. Last one ive played was Project powder and i enjoyed it but got boring quick...:( So please any games online pc thats free 2 play and free to download and try out? The only one thats good now to me that im still hocked on to is Dragon nest online which is Nexons newest game and still getting an update. Playing Online Games at College? Well I checked with my school and they said as long as it wasn't illegal I could play any online games using their internet, which is good since I don't really have anything else to do here at my dorm. Well I tried out 5 different free to play online games, all of them froze or disconnected before I could enter a world/server. Over the break when I returned home, I did nothing new to my laptop, yet I was able to play all the games perfectly, so I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the internet here. I did some light researching and I believe the problem is due to blocked ports or something. Does this sound right? Would asking the school to unblock these be too much? I'd like to know before I go in case I look like a fool asking for such a thing.

I'm a bit picky though and I think I've tried almost all the games that fit my tastes and yet I want to try something new. If you know several, lets hear them all since chances are, I've played most of what you'll suggest. I apologize if I sounded arrogant, but really, I've played a lot of games... Now, requirements for the game: - Must be an ONLINE game. Browser based or download doesn't matter. - Must be FREE to play. I don't mind all those cash shops and such, but the game itself should be free. - PVP is only an option! I detest PVP, hate me for it if you must but I loathe PVP and rarely you'll see a game without it, however some games managed to make a compromise where players, if their settings are correct, can't be attacked/cannot attack, or there are certain PVP areas/servers/realms and such. No open PVP where you can unknowingly waltz in and get killed please. - MMORPG. Or just RPG. This is very very important! I love RPG's and don't want to look at any other game. Now here are the things I prefer, but aren't strict requirements. -Fantasy. I like being a mage, or at least a class that has ranged attacks and doesn't require ammo. Be it arrows or bullets. -Good customization. I dislike looking like everyone else, even minimum customization would be nice. -Decent graphics. I like it when the character's arms don't de-attach when they're not supposed to, or when you can tell what that thing over there is, so sue me. :\ Colors are nice too. Vomit green is somehow very overused in those... lesser games... err.. runescape I think? I haven't really played it in years and it doesn't attract me, so please no runescape. - 3D. can be 2D too, but no text roleplays. Played a few, found them boring... -Lively. I like it when the background is nice to look at, colorful and such. But if it has everything above, I suppose I could forgive it for being a barren wasteland as well. - I'd prefer it if missions weren't group-oriented. I like playing on my own, don't mind making friends in game however I hate being forced in to doing so. I'm not big on partying strangers either. - pet systems are fun. Would be nice if they had it. Not a major requirement though. Well, I think that covers most of it. And here's a small list of what I've been playing recently or remember playing some time ago, so if you have any suggestions, check the list to make sure it's not there: Battle of the Immortals, Shaiya, Perfect World(international), Jade dynasty, DigimonBattle, MonsterForestOnline, Luna online, fiesta, trickster online, fairyland, Gekkeiju (*cringes at the last two mentioned*) , Earth Eternal, Silk Road, Conquer online, Asda story... these are just from the top of my head, I'm sure I've played more but can't remember... oh well. Any suggestions people? If you do suggest would be nice if you told why you're suggesting the game, what are it's appeals and such but you don't have to, just dropping a name will do too. Question for someone who knows alot about the Playstation 2 and the games.? I have never owed a PS2 console. The last game system I bought I think was the Super Nintendo so I'm way out of date (lol). I've never really been into video games much ,but I've just recently decided I need to stop watching TV so darn much and try a new hobbie. I've really been wanting a WIi ever sense it came out ,but I just can't bring myself to paying that much for a game system when I've never even had the desire for video games cause it may just sit and collect dust. New Computer for video games? a while back, almost a year or two ago, i got this computer which i am currently using. im not aware of all the specifics but it has about 4 gigs of RAM if not more indefinitely. i had been playing games like Half Life Episode 1 and some online free games and it works pretty well for most of them. also a while back i got Medal of Honor: Airborne for it from a Staples cause it was cheap. however it never worked on my computer now matter how many times i tried. not as in it lagged too much, it just never fully installed it so i could play it. regardless, i saw The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings and to be frank, i really want it. however i dont want to go through the B.S. of buying the game then finding out later if it will work or not. does anyone know the specifics of the game for it to run or some way i can easily boost my RAM etc without having to take apart my computer too much or sending it in to get a massive bill from it being modified? i have windows Vista, the computer works fine on a lot of games that i have like Sims 3 and Half Life, and 49.8 GB free out of 287 GB thank you

Free Online Roleplaying games? Anyone here like free online roleplaying games? Back in the day i got started on a MUD (multi-user dungeon) actually its the oldest school of games. Its completely text base - so no real fancy graphics. But its a great break from other types of games. The one i use to play is back. its called Ancient Empires and it takes place of course in Ancient Roman like history. You can join guilds like Vampires, Knights, Wyrd (magic), Elemental Mages, Dragons, Gladiators, Clerics. Its pretty decent. Sucky thing is not many people play, but its SUCH a great thing. The learning curve isnt all that bad. Why do my ps3 games keep freezing in the middle of online play? When i put in a game gta4 doesnt start at all call of duty world at war starts up but it freezes when its on a loading screen right before a match or after a match, and other games wont start either and i know my games are 100% scratch free, any answers on how to fix this problem WITHOUT sending it to sony, a getting a new one

I've played Guild Wars, toontown, Yugioh online, MTG online, WoW(and didnt like it), LOTR:BFME 2, C&C3, etc. It needs to be free, online, fun multiplayer, and a download is ok and i'm not talking like Bloons TD, I mean an actual game you can progress through. I've actually played Wizard 101 too. I forgot to mention and thought it was implied, but it needs to be for the computer.

What games console is for me? Well I might be getting a console for my birthday (I have enough money saved up to buy any of them, it's just depending on if my parents will let me spend that money), and I'm really struggling over making a choice. I have done extensive research and the more I do, the more I find myself coming to a wall. I have found the CPU of the PS3 is superior to that of the X-Box 360, however apparently the GPU of the 360 is superior to that of the PS3. I only have an old analog standard-definition TV, so HD is not important, however, I still want console which has the best graphics, including textures, character models, environments, etc. I know that these aspects of graphics still look good in SD, even without a HD television. I'm not interested in using the console for any other functions than playing games (although it may replace my DVD player considering the both consoles act as one anyway). The thing with the PS3 is the free online gaming. Although it's not my sole reason for buying a console, I would like the be able to play some titles online and I do not want to have to pay for this service, like the XBL Gold membership. However, I have found that the 360 has more exclusives that are probably better to play online (Halo, etc.), and in general these exclusives are more appealing to me (especially Mass Effect which is a game I'm dying to play and my PC won't run it). Although PS3 exclusives are great (I'm pumped to play Uncharted 2), on the average they just don't appeal as much to me (eg. Little Big Planet, Resistance). I'm currently undecided about Metal Gear Solid (but this is going to Xbox as well) and God of War 3, as well as Gran Turismo (I think I probably prefer the look of Forza). So on the average, exclusives for the 360 would rank higher altogether than probably the PS3. But, then there is the issue of multi-platform games. I've read that since the X-Box came out 1st, more games were developed for it and the 360 platform set the benchmark for developing. Therefore, due to the ease of porting from 360 to PC, developers mostly develop games for the 360 and their ports for the PS3 do not look as good graphically. Again this is important as a number of these games (Batman: Arkham Asylum, Red Dead Redemption, GTA) look better on the 360, and just look washed out of the PS3. As I am after the best graphical experience, the 360 is more appealing in this area, but then I've read more stuff... Apparently due to the emergence of developers utilising the Cell processor of the PS3, and the Blu-ray discs (which have a 54Gb storage capacity compared to the 9Gb for the 360), better games will start being made for the PS3 which the 360 will be unable to keep up with. As I want this console for at least the next 3-5 years, I'm thinking that the PS3 will be longing lasting as newer games will be better cause they will be utilising this extra power on the PS3. So Blu-ray is important to me, not for the HD visuals, but for the storage capacity, meaning larger games with more realistic graphics will be developed for the PS3. I'm not too fussed about this Kinect of Playstation move, even though if I had to choose it probably would be the Kinect for me. So basically I've always thought the PS3 was the standout best, but now after looking into it I can't decide. I think at the moment I prefer the 360, but the main drawbacks are the cost of online gaming (which I don't want to play at all, so if I got the 360 I wouldn't play online) as well as the small storage capacity of the DVDs they use. Also I think the hardware quality is cheaper, and tends to have a higher failure rate. That being said, for me the major drawbacks of the PS3 are the suffering of graphics in the multi-platform games (though this may change if PS3 becomes the main developing platform), and overall having a smaller library of games than the 360, as well as some take-offs having less appeal to me (eg. Resistance looks silly with the monsters, whereas Halo pulls it off better). So if you guys could recommend which console you think is best for me, and maybe explain the better features of it and why it would suit me, I can try and make my decision a bit easier.

Looking for a awesome online game 2 play? I've tried World of Warcraft and got bored, tried Final Fantasy XI but their new payment update has pretty much made it impossible for people to play (Over 1/2 of people can no longer access their accounts). How do you feel about EA's Online Pass policy for playing sports games online? In order to play games online, you must buy the game new or pay $10 play it online if you purchased it used. I can't join any mw2 games, except for free for all, HELP (xbox 360)? I have a open nat type, i have the stimulus package and the resurgence package. I can play other games like call of duty 4 online, on anything. But on MW2 all i can join free for all, or else i'll just be waiting hours. On the resurgence package it'll be 0/50 games found, and on others it'll be 5-17 games found. I have a ps3 and use the same in internet connection and it works but not XBOX 360. The numbers that say testing matches goes up really fast all the way to 100 then starts over again, with a new number of matches found. It's about problems with shooting games. I NEED HELP! PLEASE HELP ME!? OK so i wanted to play the online game operation 7 and warrock and ETC. Well it won't work for me at all! I don't know why! It says something about d3dx9_30.dll is missing. So i just reinstall it and try it again. And IT STILL SAYS TAHT d3dx9_30.dll is missing! I dont kno what that is so i look it up in google and download it. I drag the d3dx9_30.dll on the folder of the games operation 7 and etc and still shows the error. Mostly i just notice that all online shooting games are like that on my computer. The only thing that is working is just a MMORG game i played called Swords of the New World. I really don't get it. Should All Online Games Be Free To Play Online? OK, I play many online games and most of them are free, but some games, such as Phantasy Star Online charge a subscription fee. Considering I have been playing it since day one, and always had a subscription, I've easily gave Sega a few hundred quid, but they don't do anything in the game, they can't be arsed to ban cheaters, they don't provide enough downloadable quests, (they pretty much abandoned PSO3), and they don't moderate the servers, they are in essence charging you and not providing a service, (their TOS doesn't include an "as is" clause, so this is technically against the law). Also, it's not like the bandwidth used costs that much, many unofficial servers are free, and also, many other online games are free, usually by using the hosts router as a client-side hosting hub, (heck, I got 40gb bandwidth, and I'm lucky if I use 2gb). Games like Guild Wars, Diablo 2, and Neverwinter Nights are free online, so I believe all other games should be too.
