why can't i send im messages to the person im playing? i can receive there im messages. and they can receive my invites to play. im on windows 98. what do i needto do.

1. Is this one of those games where you get 'jewels' if you win? I think that maybe you will need to collect a certain number of jewels before you can send messages. I've just checked, and I think that's the case. Basically, you start off at 'Amber' level, which is 0, then when you have 100 jewels/points, you go up to 'Jade', and then you can send messages. I think you get a jewel if you lose, and maybe 3 jewels if you win, not sure. You'll need to play it between 33 and 100 times to get the IM facility unlocked. If you decide to open a paying account however, you'll go right up to Emerald level, which has all sorts of benefits, including the ability to send instand messages... but I say let them sweat, if these games aren't free, it's somehow not fun... they're not gettin' my cash anyway... yet ;)
