Hae you ever played those arcade games?

Have you ever been to an arcade place, and they hae the arcades that you can win prizes such as "Cyclone" or the ones that have the lights going around the whole arcade and you have to stop the light on the red light to claim a prize. Or the game that you have a moving square, then you have to stack them on top of each other until you reach "minor prize" and then "major prize"? Anyone know the real names of these games and pictures? I was asking this because I think those games are rigged or something because every time I get the light exactly on top of the red light bulb, it skips it and stops right on the next one. Anyone REALLY know how these games work or how you have to play them to win? I know there is a trick to it.
