is xbox 360 arcade good enough for "only" games?

i am thinking of purchaseing an xbox 360 and i have come across the arcade i am wondering, is it good for playing just games? (i don't care at all about playing dvds, adding music/ photos or anything like that) the only thing i care slightly about is xbox live but it doenst matter if it can't play it. all i want to know is 1. does it play ALL xbox 360 games or as the name surgests, only arcade games? 2. can you buy memory cards for it. 3. i have heard it already has some built in memory, if so does it have a decent amount for saving my progress on games?(i don't care about downloading them.) i can not currently think of anymore questions, if i think of any i will add them. thank you in advance.

1. #1 and 2 are a yes, 360 arcade is good.
2. This xbox playes all the games the regular Xbox 360 games and you can get memory cards for it, It dosent have enough memoey on it fto save any of your games but its still a good buy and you end up saving money by buying the arcade
