Can I copy xboxlive arcade games and other things?

My friend has halo 1 from the microsoft marketplace because he purchased it yesterday and I wanted to get it too but without paying 14 dollars. I also have some arcade games that he wants too. So I was wondering if we could have the same game on two different hardrives without paying for both. I think i am going to answer my own question but I think you need a memory card but do the hold enough and do the have the ability to copy games and themes. Please help im very low on money right now and i dont want to pay 14 dollars and dont give me crappy answers like these guys i will ftp it or mod my xbox again or anything illegal because it is not really illegal because what is illegal is xboxlive advertising and we dont get anything out of it.
