If you recommend a friend to buy a new xbox360 can you get 10 free arcade games?

On hotukdeals.com there was this thing that said if you can get a friend to buy a new xbox 360 and send them the receipt, you and your friend can get 10 free arcade games as a promotional offer. It isnt on there anymore but i was wondering if anyone else knew anything about this and where i can get it or of corse if it is a load of rubbish. Thanks =) When i say, 'if you can get a friend to buy one' Its not from a specified place like adrew thought. Its buya new one anywhere, then send off the receipt to receive them. I dont really see how there could be a scam there, i just want to know if anyone knows for a fact whether the promotional offer is true or not or valid for that matter.

1. Hi George, To the best of knowledge, those are scams. Maybe not technical scams, but somewhat. They usually involve you referring someone to a website. If that someone purchases something you receive a credit. Usually something like refer 10 people and IF they each buy a game system, you receive a game or a game system. I usually just go with the old adage about if something appears to be to good to be true, it usually is. Peace=)
2. i know it is not hard to get arcade game on a PS3 or Xbox 360 you can even get them on the original XBOX. You just have to download an emulator and games to go with it. My buddy had nintendo, N64, super nintendo, PS, PS2, atari emulators and tons of games to go with them. Its pretty easy. most are free to download but the best usally cost to download.
