  2. 1) Robotron (late entry) Stargate 2) Karate Champ 3) Tekken Tag / Tekken 5 4) Virtual Fighter 4 5) Smash TV 6) Life Force (called Bio somthing in the US?) 7) Daytona (with a bunch of them for multi-player) 8) Galaga '88 / Mr. Do 9) Street Fighter II / Turbo / Alpha 2&3 10) Gauntlet II (There was a III? I didn't know there was Gauntlet III) edit: Ok, I think I forgot a couple that might be better than a couple on there, but that's close anyway... edit: OMG! I forgot Stargate! Stargate was like defender but took it to the next level, it was simply awesome for it's time.

  8. Ms. Pacman: far better than the orginal, no fixed patterns and 4 different maps. This used to be THE game to get the high score for. Ghost n Goblins: Super hard platforming perfection. Tekken: Great fighter, great characters Defender: Rock hard, mental controls, but a truly amazing game. Think it was the first game with scrolling Missile Command: Fast frantic and guaranteeded to leave blisters from the heavy trackball. Just like nuclear war, you cant ever beat this game and later levels can still genuinely induce panic still Donkey Kong: One of the first platform games and really fun even today. Street Fighter 2: Revolutionary or its time with amazing graphics, ballanced fighters and some cool moves. Radiant Silvergun: The ultimate "bullet hell" shooter. Amazing amounts of onscreen bullets and you have to be in the zone to beat this one. Outrun: The music alone is worth playing this for. Add a great car cabinet, good graphics, a variety of landscapes and most importantly, a brilliant feeling of speed. Robotron: Pure twitch gameplay. Spartan graphics but the neverending hordes of enemies and a perfect control scheme make this a classic. Geometry Wars is the same game but with sexier looks.
