Where do companies buy arcade games from?

Where do arcades buy the machines from? Say for example I wanted to start an arcade, where would I have to go to get the machines?

  1. You could find a wholesaler manufacture type place. http://www.vendingconnection.com/yparcades.html http://www.arcadewarehouse.com/ http://www.retroarcade.co.uk/ hope i can help.
  2. National chains probably buy them straight from the manufacturer. Smaller arcades and other large companies (like restaurants) would go probably through coin-op distributors. They aren't all that common, and don't do a whole lot of advertising, but you should be able to find a few in the yellow pages of major cities.
  3. The large chains have US importers that buy for them from the manufacture. If it is a special classic or older game they may use a US retailer. The smaller mall, hotel, motel, diner arcades use the retail shops to get theirs.
