How come some online ps2 games work and some wont connect to my network?

I have a ps2 wireless adapter, (linksyss router) i can play some online games like socom but some wont connect to the network why is this? The games that work have progressive scan and the ones that dont wont connect to the network alwAys results in errors. quinsitance? or no. whats the problem?

1. coninsidence.Sometimes this happens and you have to try again or check the plug.Like sometime in Socom 2 it wouldn't work till 3mins. later.
2. they main reason is some of the network servrs has shut down, for either being to old or a newer verision game as come out
3. Check the open nat level on your router. go into internet explorer and type 192.168.1.1 type that on the computer pluged into the router. look around in the options to see what might prevent it. go to linksys and sonys sites to see what they sugest for your problem
4. If the router is from when the ps2 first came out, you need a new one because only the games that came out with the psdu when it released are playable on that router.
