What Software Tools are used to make online games like Club Penguin or RuneScape?

Does anyone know how to create an online, multi-player kids game like RuneScape or Club Penguin? I am wondering what software tools are used or how this is done. I have several ideas for new online kids games but don't know where or how to begin. Thanks for the Answers!!!

2. I know that both RuneScape and Club Penguin are written in Java programming language. You can learn Java on your own, it might take 5 months at max to learn most of Java where you can make a working game. Just remember, you won't work a year on a game and become a millionaire. It just doesn't work. Work at it and you in due time will be rewarded. Also, another thing is that if Game Development was easy, wouldn't everyone do it? It isn't, if you are serious, be ready for hurdles to jump and struggles along the way. Go on Google and search for "Java Tutorials", you will find lots of helpful tutorials!
