how do you plug in the game cube controller to a wii?

I bought the controller that said it would work on the wii. I dont see how this plugs in?

1. The little flap on the top. Open it and plug in the controller!
2. I believe there is a converter. You just plug the controller into it, and it into the wii.
3. On the top of the Wii there is a flap (it's white like the rest of the console, but has a tab to open it). Open the flap, and there will be the outlet for the game cube controller and memory cards.
4. there's a flap on the top of the wii (the flap is about 6" long) that opens to reveal 4 game cube connections. just plus your controllers in there and youre set.
5. Did you read the instruction manual?
6. On the top of the wii there ia a liltte piece and a big pice that opens. There are 4 controll holes for gamecube on the big peice and 2 memaory card slots in the little piece.
