How do i get ready before my soccer game, im a goalie?
How do i get ready before my soccer game, im a goalie? i try to do the pre-game stuff like run alittle, stretch, goalie warm ups, i let the team take shots even then i dont feel like diving or saving hard to get 1s. then when game time comes my body doesnt feel like playing i feel lazy. music idea is good but i cant keep the plugs in my ears due to the fact i still have to dive or bend over to get the shots in pre-game. im starter in 3rd year of high school on varsity with one pretty good back-up who the only reason he is not starting is cause he hasnt come to the practices. i need help please i dont want to sit bench this season or go down to jv. i am pretty good thats y i made it to starter over 3 seniors im good on the line i no where to be just crosses i have hard time cutting off and break aways it seems like i never give 100% on those. im at like 85% i need the other 15%. its not the crowd i love to crowd home or away night games even better

- Doesn't sound like you're too into playing goalie. To play goalie, you have to go all out on every save, or "balls to the wall" as some would say. I would say that you need to find a good way to get pumped up before each game. Try headbutting the goal posts... or listening to some hard core music on the way to the game. That usually works for me before my soccer matches.
- Have a good night's rest before next game to make sure you are not tired And warm up just a bit at home before going to the field You will then be able to train and play without feeling lazy Hope it works
- you should always try to motivate yourself before every game. for example, say to yourself, ill make one diving save today. or ill keep a cleansheet today. anything that motivates you and makes you want to play
