8. There are tons, depending on what you think of as classic arcade games. There are those older ones like Popeye, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., and Mario Bros. that were pretty fun and cool. A little later than these, but still classics are around the time I enjoyed the most. Some of my favorites were games like Tron, Airwolf (graphics in arcade were amazing, I felt like I was watching video [and may have been, I can't remember]), Xenophobe, Street Fighter, Altered Beast, Superman, GI Joe, The Punisher (you got to see him shooting someone in the head, violent game), Operation Wolf and such. A little later, but still seeming like classics, were Street Fighter 2 (which really started to define fighting games, especially in terms of controls and moves), Mortal Kombat, Bust-A-Move, Lethal Enforcers I & II, and the like. Not as classic, but getting there... Nowadays, arcade games are really not nearly as popular and arcades are disappearing all over the place, especially smaller ones. This is a disappointment, at least for me, as I love going to the arcade!
