which classic arcade game is this?

i remember playing this shooting game on an arcade machine and it was similar to star fox where you were in a ship shooting things in a black sky background. the only thing i really remember is when you moved the joystick left or right, it did not move left or right but in a circle clockwise or counter clockwise around a screen. does anyone know the name of this song/where i can play it online for free also does anyone have any good sites that have arcade games that you can play online free? give sites/game reccomendations. i like pacman tetris ect. any other classics?
