Turtles classic arcade game 1989?

hi there im a big fan of the classic turtles arcade game from 1989 but ive never played it on myself ive checked the details for which systems the game can be played on and it says it can be played in dos can somebody help me let me know how you run the game in dos please i have windows xp sp2 can it be run on there and will i have to use windows 98

1. What you need to do is download MAME, Google it and download it. Then Google for the TMNT rom. Download that and make sure it is saved in your "rom" file of your MAME directory. I can't name the sites as it's classed as a violation on YA!. I have MAME version 32b which I think is the best version. I also have 2 versions of the TMNT rom file, one is a 2 player version (tmnt2p) and a 4 player version (tmnt4p). MAME will play these games in a Window on your desktop but it can be enlarged to full-screen. I hope this helps somewhat.
