will plugging in any game system like a 360 to my projector screen tv burn out the color cabels on the tv?
if that is true i have a dvd player with extra audio/video ports on it and i can connect the game system there while that is connected to the tv. will that make any difference?

- i dont think you want to plug any game system into any projection tv - it will burn out the projection tv.
- no you won't burn out anything on a tv by plugging a game system into it. The only thing to worry about is on some tv's, not so much the plamas now (they have a white screen that clears the image periodiclly), but the older ones, and even the older tubes, you don't want to leave the same screen up for a long period of time, or else that image can burn into the tv.
- DO NOT plug any game system into a projection TV screen!!! it will burn the image of the game into the screen and it will not come off!! I did this when i plugged my GameCube into the TV last year! It will ruin ur TV! a 360 is probably worse becuase its more powerful than a GC!
- It isn't the cables that burn out. It is a static image burning into your screen. You just don't want any HUD staying on screen for a real long time because they will if left on too long create what looks like a watermark on your panel and it will in most cases be permanent. you can still play games on your TV just be careful when playing games that you don't leave static images on the screen for too long. If your TV is newer than like 3 years though it isn't as big of a deal nor if it is a DLP, DLPs are not nearly as susceptible to burn in as other older projection panels. I have friends with old projection tvs ad they play games all the time, just not 4 hour deathmatches. Don't be scared about it just be cautious and informed. You can just don't be excessive about it and never leave it paused fro more than 20 minutes without changing the channel or turning the tv off
