can i record audio my with a gaming headset that plugs into usb?

im using turtle beach headphones. ak-r8 series. and im trying to record my voice onto the program audacity. can anyone help????

1. To recoard audio you have to have a working micrphone.
2. I took a quick look at their website and it looks like the headphones come with a little box called the "audio advantage srm" - if you have that, all you need to record your voice is an 1/8" cable going from that to the mic input on your computer. audacity should be able to handle that. if you only have the usb connection, you should be able to just select your headphones from edit/preferences ... audio i/o if the recording device menu doesnt have them, i cant help you.
