What are some good online multiplayer games?

I know about runescape, Club Penguin, Seafight and EVE but does anyone know of some good online games where you can talk to ppl and stuff -- And preferably a game where you can be on a ship, battling or something. But any games would help.

Top 3 MMORPG's (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games) in my opinion are: Warhammer online: Age of Reckoning, or WAR World Of Warcraft, or WOW Guild Wars, or GW Sadly the best 2 up there, WAR and WOW, are pay-to-play, which means that you pay monthly to keep playing (the first month is free then its 15 dollars a week) GW, though free once you start, is nowhere as good as the others.
Call of Duty 4. It'll get you out of that sad phase where you want to 'meet' people online, and get you into 'killing' people online. You can talk to them with your own voice too *gasp* and not just typing 'hi'. There's a map where you're on a ship too, 'battling' other people. REAL PEOPLE, THAT EXIST.

Dude you have to check out shaiya. It is a huge battle and fantasy style mmpg, and it is free. Also puzzle pirates is kinda cool but if you want battles and missions and stuff send me your email address and I will invite you on to a few free mmpgs that I have found!
