How do you connect your Harvest Moon More Friends of Mineral Town GBA game to your Harvest Moon Cute on DS?

I recently purchased Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town for Game Boy Advanced. I bought it for the sole purpose of getting people like Trent and other Mineral Town characters onto my Harvest Moon Cute game for DS. But whenever I plug it in, the Mineral Town characters aren't in my game. How do I connect them together?

1. O ya know that second slot on ur Ds just plug ur GBA in that and continue playing it does it automatically and it depends on the day because different people visit on different days too
