Game Plugs

Putting in baskets...?

I have four girls...Kendell (8), Josselyn (5), and Maekna (3). My youngest is my only son, poor thing! He is fifteen months and is named Dustin. We are expecting twins in November and are putting together baskets for each of the kids. They aren't really that special and I am not spending a lot of money on them. I just want a little something special for each of my kids :)... So far I have... Kendall- * Hannah Montana sleeping bag * Hannah Montana shirt * Art kit * Nail Polish kit Josselyn- * Bedtime Dora * Barbie doll * Spongebob memory game * Barbie backpack Maekna- * Plastic tea set * Polly pocket dress-up * Ariel movie * Nursery rhyme tape Dustin- * Baby sing-along * Peek-a-boo books! * Vtech rhyme book * Mini work bench If you have any ideas or input..please let me know :):)! I love the ideas...keep them coming :). I will DEFINITELY do the picture idea. That is cute :). It kind of depends what you think of expensive. I spent about $25-$30 each. When I had my youngest the older kids didn't get like anything except for 50 cent toy cars while the new baby got tons of toys and stuff. I hated seeing my kids jealous before the babie even got here, so that is why I am doing this :).

  1. Not that much money? Looks very expensive to me...anyway, I think the kids will love it no matter what it is as it's a present for them.
  2. Those sound good. Sounds like Christmas. lol You are going to have a full house soon. Good luck and congrats!
  3. why don't you put in a little picture of you with them and a note saying that you love them! and plus you dont have to spend that much money on that little craft I just mentioned
  4. Awww you are such a great mum!! Im expecting a baby in october and reading your question i have decided now that i too am going to do something for my 2 boys that i already have. I think its great what you are doing, they are really lucky kids! I dont think you need to add much more at all they will love what you have in there already! Good luck with your twins
  5. hmmm.. I agree w/ putting pictures and a note from yourself in each basket.. other than that I would personally say that that should be plenty for each child.
  6. great idea. I have seen this before as a way to welcome the new baby by having the baby "give" the older siblings a present. Congratulations on your upcoming arrivals. twins are such a blessing
