3. Not that easy... You need a lot of experience with flash and extremely good knowledge of Actionscript. You also need to be able to set up the server(s) so that people can use it and you need knowledge of web programming to put it on a site. Keep in mind these games are made by fairly large teams of very experienced programmers with plenty of funds. It is ridiculous to think you can do it yourself...

5. First I would pickup a copy of Flash CS4. It isn't too expensive if you are in school, as you can get the educational discount. You're going to need to take some time to learn the ins and outs of Flash. Then you will have to learn ActionScript 3.0, the programming game with Flash. Pick up a book like "ActionScript 3.0 Game Programming University," or something similar. I would check Amazon for highly rated books about either ActionScript 3.0, or Flash CS4 (or whatever version you have). After you learn how to make simple games, then you can read in the networking sections how to send data between the Flash application and the server. Most any good Flash gaming book will have at least a bit on networking. Still, I would buy something like "Essential ActionScript 3.0" to have as a reference. With all of these tools and a little practice, you will be able to create online Flash games.
