I'm looking for free, "easy" RP online games to play???

worried about possible virus and do not want to "join" anything to just have fun playing and I'm looking for something fairly simple. I play Sacred and Diablo 2 on pc but not online. Any suggestions? (bored club pogo member)

1. ever played "icewind dale"? theres 2 types, the fist, with a expansion pack and the second. the game is fairly old (came out in 2000) but is still cool, i know it's not free but you can pick it up on ebay for about £3

World of Warcraft is by far the most popular MMO right now, but it is very expensive ( $50 for the game and $13 per month depending on where you live).
