Do you plug the game dance dance revolution up to your TV? Or do you hook it up to a console? Which console?
I'm not sure if I can just hook up the game and mat to my tv or if I have to hook it up to a console such as an xbox or PS2.

- there are DDR games on all three ps2, gamecube and xbox, you have to check which of those the game is for, then hook the system up through your tv and enjoy
- It depends on the mat you get. They sell DDR mats for both PS2 or XBox but I think they have different adaptors. You also have to buy the game in addition to the mat.
- u have to use a console ,u put it where the control gose and i know cuz i have the game its pretty fun u also have to buy the game sepreet from the dance pad usless it come wit it
- You have to put the game CD into into your PS2 or x-box and the game pad into the controller on the x-box or PS2
- Dance games including such as the popular Dance Dance Revolution, the challenging In The Groove, or the alternative 5-pad Pump It Up are availble for Playstation, Playstation 2, XBox, Gamecube, and coming soon for XBox 360. Dance Dance Revolution, DDR Konamix, and DDR Disney Mix are for Playstation 2 but are no longer made so good luck finding any of these games. DDRMAX, DDRMAX2, DDR Exteme, and DDR Extreme 2 are available for Playstation 2. The two Extreme games have Eyetoy so you have to play with your hands and your feet in a mode called Hands & Feet, pretty fun. Also coming soon for PS2 is the console version is Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA which is based off the all new arcade version now appearing in arcades across America! In The Groove is avalable for PS2 too. You can also find Pump It Up Exceed, the 5 pad dance game, for PS2. DDR Ultramix 1, 2, 3, and soon to be 4 is available for XBOX. Each of these games are compatible for up to 4 players, and features downloadable song packs from X-BOX Live. You can also find a XBOX Version of Pump It Up Exceed too. DDR Mario Mix is a new and exclusive mix contain all original Mario themes and is perfect for beginners to the DDR realm. DDR Mario Mix is availble for Gamecube. DDR Universe is a upcoming version to premiere on the XBOX 360. Little is known about first DDR game to hit the fifth generation of video game consoles. Rumors have it DDR will have a plug and play version of DDR featuring Strawberry Shortcake. However I have not been able to confirm from Konami though on this. Pray it isn't so. Other plug and play dance games for your television are avalable but are so hideous that they are truly a waste of time and money. They don't even really play music just 16-bit video game sound. For personal computer look for the Freeware Stepmania (http://www.stepmania.com), and In The Groove for PC.
