Is there some way to get free arcade games or gamer pics for the xbox 360?

if there is how

1. you need a gold membership to get the freebies
2. If you have xbox live you can download some free arcade games and some trial games. Also there are gamer pics that are free to download.
3. If you have gold you will be able to download all trial arcade games, but none are just free (unless special promotion) and you may be able to find free gamer pics in some areas but most you have to pay a little.
