are pogo games free to play?

hi, i just created an account on Pogo.com and everyone says that their games are free to play. well, when i go to play ANY of their games, it won't let me play them. either i have to download it for a free trial, or i have to buy it. people have told me that they are free and you don't have to download them at all, it's all right there right then. so, that's what i was thinking of it this whole time. is there anyway that i can do that or do i HAVE to download it for a free trial or buy it? if i can't just play it right there on the site for free without having to do anything, i don't want Pogo. if you can think of any other good websites that are free and you don't have to download anything or they don't spam you, could you please also include them? thanks.

1. some games aren't accessible with a free membership. i play games on pogo all the time on my free membership.
2. Some of their games are free. you have to be a paying member or buy it. games like word wopper or something like that are free. Click free games on the left i believe..... i think that is a option but i'm not sure.
3. It sounds as though you're trying to play CLUB POGO games. Stick with the other ones. I love POGO but won't pay to play since they have so many free games that satisfy
4. Your question reminds me when I got my first Pogo account. I had the same problem, but there is an easy solution. Check to see if you computer has the latest edition of Java. If it does not, then Google search: free Java download. If you already have Java, then maybe you have Pop up-Blocker. If your pop up blocker is on, then DO NOT turn it off. You can get around that. Simply hold down the Shift, Ctrl, and the Atl buttons at the same time on your keyboard while click on the Play button. Here's one tip: when hold down Shift, Ctrl, and the Atl, a few seconds before you click Play.
