Game Plugs

my dad gets on my nerves(plz just listen)?

ok last night i was watching tv and he asked if i could help him print something. i said we don't have any ink. he said sh!+ Sh!+ about 3 times. Then he goes well why the hell not?! yelling at me like its my fault. like i'm the one thats suppose to provide the ink. we just bought this computer last month. He said well why didn't it come with the ink! i said dad thats makes about as much sense as me asking why didn't it come with my Sims game. ya, know? i know some computers come with it but you have to pay extra and its hard to find a computer with everything you want.i mean i help him with the computer 247. i don't mind it sometimes but he doesn't want to learn how to use it, he wants me to do it for him. he asked how do i save this to come back late to print i said add it to your favorites. he said where is that i said right click the mouse and you'll see it. he didn't see it. i had to come up there and show him what was right in front of his eyes. he also said i never help him which isn't true at all. i transfered all those pictures with a flash drive from our old computer. if i don't come right then and there to help him he starts screaming and cursing. i mean during the school year id be trying to do my homework and id tell him i'm too busy but he doesn't understand that. i mean i was trying to pass math! also i know this new computer is very different from the last one we had and its confusing for him, but again i've been trying to help him and he thinks all computers in the world are built the same which they they're not. At first i was kinda taken away and was like ok where are my pictures i uploaded how do i add this to favorites, set up instant messenger etc....but i figured it out soon. no he's not going to sign up for class. he's lazy and wants me to do it for him. yeah i know the ink costs a lot and i'm not paying for it unless I NEED to print something!

  1. Most libraries have free computer classes to teach the basics. Maybe you can ask him if he wants to sign up for one.
  2. Your generation is computer literate, his is not. Just go and teach him step by step how to do things. Be patient and understanding. He sounds like he's just frustrated because he can't figure it out. I'm sure you've encountered subjects in school like that. Well this is the same. Help your dad. It's better than listening to him curse all over the place. And show him how much printer ink costs because when he has to buy it he's going to explode again! LOL!
  3. It can be reall hard to work with poeople who have a learning curve like a straight line... Imagine trying to work on a help desk doing exactly what you just did with your Dad over the phone... I get paid to do that... I don't know what's worse, people that don't know, or people that don't know that don't want to listen...
