do game systems mess up your tv?

i got a 57 inch tv its old like from 98 would playing a viddeo game mess it up? and i also have a 67 inch hdtv would that mess up if i plug a game system to it

1. video games are not good for plasma screens, it is ill advised. You may be able to use it on your other big screen, but im not completely sure.
2. They only mess up some projection and rear projection TVs. The manuals will tell you which ones it will mess up go online to the various official game console websites and check their manuals to see.
3. yes it will. the tv will eventally wear out. even tho it will say in the manual its game protected. the tv will wear out from using a bright screen. the best thing to do is not having the tv so bright and when u have the game in pause is to not have it still. like have the tv going on a tv station.
4. Only projectors and projection TVs are at risk - PS3 will burn their lamps much faster. As for other types - no, it won't mess them up.
