Can someone remember the name of a classic arcade game, first person shooter with aliens?

It was Area 51, thank you!!! It worked a little like the time cop series, with guns for controllers, and you had to shoot at the aliens that popped up in front of you. There were also other things you could do like target practice and stuff (and I think there was even an option to play as the aliens and shoot at the humans). Can anyone remember what this game is called?
