Game Plugs

What are the six plugs in the back of my pc?

I'm trying to see if I can hook up a video game console to my computer so that I can play it on the monitor. The console has the standard red, yellow, white chords but I don't know which jack to plug in where. There are six plugs in the back of the pc. The six plugs look like this: white, black, and orange on top. red, green and blue on the botttom. Could someone tell me which ones I'm supposed to plug the jacks into?

  2. Well I can tell you right now that your console's RCA cable is not going to plug in and work in the back of your computer.
  3. Well your computer won't support a console no matter how hard you try. Maybe the next generation will, but currently no such console exists. It's also unlikely to plug directly into your monitor. Only more high end monitors have the inputs for consoles, and they're usually just TVs with the computer inputs. If you're desperate to use your monitor, go to your local PC hardware shop and ask if they have some way of linking them together. Kinda like the mains converter things you get for foreign plug sockets, only for monitors...
  4. If you read the book that probably came with the computer it will probably tell you what they are for. My best guess is that your sound card supports surround sound and they are speaker jacks. Try doing a little research for a change before opting for the easy way.
