What can i do to keep my ps3 controller from turning off during game play while plugged into the ps3?

Help! every time I try to play MW2 online for about 45 minutes to an hour my controller will turn off. Its really annoying when I'm about to kill someone and it turns off. Any suggestions?

1. Try turning on your PS3 and leaving the controllor plugged in without using it to let it charge for at least an hour. Leting it get a full charge in it will let you know whether or not you just need to get another controller or if your charger cable has crapped out on you.
2. Hmm that's strange it shouldn't do that maybe its something wrong with the hardware.
