Game Plugs

Is there any game like guitar hero that eithe plugs into the television or DVD player?

i dont have a PS2 or any other platform that supports Guitar hero but i do have a regular Xbox but there is no guitar hero that plays on xbox.... does anyone know if the xbox 360 version works on regular xobox or is there an alternative game to guitar hero that does not need its own platform
