Why do we have to sign up,buy,fill in answers to play free games??

I just want to play free games for my own entertainment. Why is this not possible??

nothing in life is free. When ever you get something for "free" it means somebody had to pay for it, How do they pay for it, but selling your info to mailing list. Before you know it you have been scammed into being someones butler for life.
