chess online question?
I will sponser an after school chess club this year. I found out I can access sites like yahoo chess in our cpu lab, and we can play games against each other on there. my question is, are there any free online sites like a yahoo, or pogo, that will let us modify games (like, only pawns and queens & kings, or no queens etc.). thanks for any help.

- they use to be one like that but not no more
- Search online for atomic chess, fairy chess, things like that. There's like 53957395739 "alternate" version of chess... It would be too long to list them all, but you'll find some.
- AVOID YAHOO!!! It has bugs and time cheaters. use any from this search http://www.google.com/search?as_q=online+chess&hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&hs=C4T&num=10&btnG=Google+Search&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=yahoo&lr=&as_ft=i&as_filetype=&as_qdr=all&as_nlo=&as_nhi=&as_occt=any&as_dt=i&as_sitesearch=&as_rights=&safe=images In other stuff you may want a free chess program. You'll need an interface. http://www.tim-mann.org/xboard.html I recommend winboard because it comes with gnuchess.
